Profile

I have been a professional artist since 1994. I graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a degree in Textiles and have recently completed an MA course in Communication Design at Central St. Martins, London, where I gained a distinction.

As well as having work published, I have also exhibited Nationwide and have created work to commission. I am currently a member of Magdalen Road Studios, Oxford.

My work is best described as a cross-over between textiles and illustration. I am interested in the use of mixed-media and find my strengths lie with experimentation and developing new ways of working. Language and text play an important role in my work, of which I incorporate quotes from sources such as conversation and stories, case-studies, found lists, letters and old diaries.
