I’m a Derbyshire-based illustrator and Art Educator, holding a BA(Hons) in Textiles and an MA in Illustration from Central Saint Martins.

My work is driven by curiosity—shaped by film, literature, natural history, and the spirit of exploration. I tell stories through objects and images, arranging them to invite viewers to linger and uncover hidden narratives. From woodland finds and film stills to museum objects, I explore how the ordinary can become extraordinary when seen through a particular lens.

Collections and series are central to my practice, each unfolding as a connected narrative. My sketchbooks serve as journals, echoing the curiosity of early naturalists and explorers.

I have over three decades of experience leading community art workshops for people of all ages and abilities. I create welcoming, hands-on sessions that encourage experimentation, play, and personal storytelling, helping participants connect with their own creative voice.

I am also developing work in children’s illustration—both fiction and non-fiction picture books—and am currently seeking representation to support and grow this author–illustrator side of my practice.

At the heart of everything I do is a simple aim: to invite readers and viewers to pause, look again, and step into a story—whether in the natural world, a museum drawer, or hidden in plain sight.
