"New research shows how arts and culture can help to improve health, well-being and quality of life for older people aged 65 and over."

Arts Council, England

The arts aren’t just for those with a history of creativity, but anyone willing to have a go, live in the moment and express themselves regardless of their level of communication, age or physical ability.

I use a multi-sensory approach to my work, which is both inclusive and approachable. I also focus on reminiscence, engaging older adults using their life history as a tool to counter the affects of dementia and Alzheimer's.

I also work with inter-generational groups which include older people working alongside children, improving the quality of life for older people by enabling participation in meaningful activities.
